Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mari Juana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daulton Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daulton Drake will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juana on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Drake lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Drake.
Drake rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Juana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Drake lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Juana has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Juana and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Drake throws a series of punches but Juana avoids them all with ease.
Drake scores with a nice right hand.
Drake scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Drake connects with a good right hand that stumbles Juana. Juana circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for Drake, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Drake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Daulton Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Drake tries to bum rush Juana with a series of wild strikes but Juana uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Juana gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Some bone on bone action there as Juana checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Drake ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Juana moves away.
Drake lands with a hook. Juana tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Drake throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Juana stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Drake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Juana counters with a nice double leg into side control. Drake won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee asks Juana politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Juana prefers to stall for the moment though.
Drake takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Juana is staying tight to Drake's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Juana has an Americana. Drake didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Juana is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Juana hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
