Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shola Ameobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ameobi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Enemy - Away From Here. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ameobi momentarily.
Phoenix lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ameobi on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ameobi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Phoenix tries to avoid it but Ameobi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Phoenix to the ground. Phoenix escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Phoenix scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Phoenix swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ameobi.
Ameobi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Phoenix enables Ameobi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Phoenix manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
