Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dersu Uzala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radmir Malyutin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dersu Uzala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Radmir Malyutin!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzala fails with a takedown attempt.
Uzala closes the distance and clinches up with Malyutin, looking for a takedown. Uzala pushes Malyutin against the cage but Malyutin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Malyutin has managed to clinch.

Uzala jumps into guard, dragging Malyutin to the mat.
Malyutin trying to control the position from guard on top but Uzala is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Uzala controls Malyutin momentarily but Malyutin frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Uzala with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Malyutin has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Uzala looking to break Malyutin's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Malyutin remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Uzala will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Uzala is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Malyutin has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Uzala is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Malyutin is defending well though. Uzala let's go of the attempt for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Malyutin wants to control from the top but Uzala keeps moving.
Malyutin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Uzala has his foot on Malyutin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Malyutin works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Radmir Malyutin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Uzala closes the distance but Malyutin moves to the side

so Malyutin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Uzala manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Malyutin manages to get himself to full guard.
Malyutin controls Uzala momentarily but Uzala frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Malyutin wants to get back to his feet but Uzala is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Uzala drops back, looking for a kneebar! Malyutin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Malyutin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Malyutin!
Malyutin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Uzala keeps working.

Uzala is looking to regain half guard here but Malyutin keeps moving and retains side control.
Uzala is trying to work for a sweep but Malyutin has mounted him!

Well Malyutin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
