Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Liquid Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lex Luthor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Lex Luthor enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lex Luthor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel moves away from the strike by Luthor.
Luthor with a lazy takedown attempt

so Steel counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Luthor keeping moving, preventing Steel from controlling successfully.
Luthor wants to sweep here but Steel controlling him for the moment.

Luthor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Steel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Steel trying to control the position from guard on top but Luthor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Luthor is on top in guard.
Steel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Luthor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Luthor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Luthor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Luthor is working Steel over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Luthor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Luthor is looking to work some ground and pound but Steel has wrist control.
Steel trying to keep a closed guard but Luthor is proving a slippery customer.
Luthor postures up in Steel's guard and throws a big left but Steel blocks it.
Luthor tries to free his leg and advance position but Steel is retaining full guard.
Luthor pushing down on Steel's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Luthor is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Luthor has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Steel defend it? Luthor steps over the head and cranks it - Steel is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Luthor!
