Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myron Gaines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ford comes to the cage accompanied by Punch Craze. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaines closes the distance and clinches.
Ford prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gaines is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ford is looking to break free of the clinch but Gaines has double underhooks.

Gaines should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ford fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gaines looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ford lands a head shot.
Ford ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gaines moves away.
Gaines steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ford.
Ford connects with a right hand. Gaines shakes it off.

Gaines is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ford sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
