Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Per Saukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannibal Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Soze's choice of entrance music: Outside - To Forgive but not Forget . Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Saukko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Soze to the mat! Soze manages to get full guard.
Soze looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Saukko has picked Soze up and slammed him! Soze can't keep hold of the triangle and Saukko manages to pass to side control!
Saukko wants to control but Soze is keeping him busy.
Soze manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Soze is trying to maintain the position but Saukko is very close to passing his half guard.
Soze won't allow Saukko to pass to mount.

Saukko cracks Soze with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That has opened up Hannibal Soze's cut even more.
Soze is trying to escape the mount.

Saukko cracks Soze with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Per Saukko!
Per Saukko retains his heavyweight title!
