Souto comes to the cage accompanied by Jorge Quintero - 300 violin orchestra. Rolando Souto could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Stallion's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stallion lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Stallion misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Souto decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stallion's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Souto wants to control from the top but Stallion keeps moving.
Souto might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Souto drops back looking for a leg! Stallion is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stallion manages to kick Souto off! Souto jumps back into Stallion's guard.

Stallion bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Souto's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Souto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Souto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stallion defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Stallion was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Souto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Souto is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Souto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stallion sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Souto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stallion to the mat! Stallion manages to get full guard.

Souto keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stallion's head.
Stallion is trying to control the position but Souto postures up.
Souto tries to free his leg and advance position but Stallion is retaining full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stallion can do anything to dispel that myth.

Souto lands a couple of digs.
Souto stops Stallion from standing up.
Stallion is looking to sweep but instead, Souto has passed into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Souto slips a nice elbow through Stallion's hands, connecting with Stallion's forehead.
Souto throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Stallion is looking for a sweep. Souto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Souto is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stallion has managed to free his arm - good work.

Souto in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Stallion tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Souto!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rolando Souto!
Rolando Souto opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
