Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuggy Propa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Propa has chosen Lonnie G - February Mix as his entrance music. Chuggy Propa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Cormier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuggy Propa!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier swings for the body but Propa moves out of range.
Propa blocks a jab.
Cormier throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cormier shoots in looking for a takedown but Propa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cormier's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cormier throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cormier misses the body punch
enabling Propa to counter with a crisp jab.
Cormier misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cormier throws a hook but Propa avoids it easily.
Cormier thows a body shot but no joy.
Cormier takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Cormier shoots in for a takedown but Propa shows good takedown defense.

Cormier fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Propa avoids it really well and circles away.

Cormier dives in and grabs Propa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Propa pushes down on Cormier's head and hops out.

Propa is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Cormier is trying hard to land a takedown here. Propa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Propa digs a good body shot into Cormier's ribs.

Propa throws a right and a left that Cormier avoids nicely.

Cormier looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Propa is fending him off so far but Cormier persists. Nope, Propa circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Propa connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

and Propa counters with a straight right hand.

and Propa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Cormier walks into a left hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cormier. Propa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cormier shoots in for a double leg but Propa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Propa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Propa has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Cormier tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Propa was well out of range. Poor timing from Cormier.
Cormier shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cormier. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Propa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Cormier misses with a hook. Propa ducked under it nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cormier shoots in but no luck this time.
Donk. Propa catches Cormier right on the button with a cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chuggy Propa dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Cormier drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Propa keeping moving, preventing Cormier from controlling successfully.

Cormier thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cormier makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Propa has momentary wrist control but Cormier slips an elbow through the middle.
Propa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cormier is one step ahead there.
Cormier is pushing down on Propa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Propa is fighting to maintain full guard but Cormier has managed to sneak the leg through.
Propa on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Cormier scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Ground and pound from Cormier.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Propa can do anything to dispel that myth.
Propa is looking to improve his position.
Cormier working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Cormier thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Propa taking some punishment here, with Cormier in his half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cormier landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Propa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cormier is working away from the top position though.
Propa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cormier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cormier works his way into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cormier is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Propa has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Propa is rocked!


It looks like Chuggy Propa has been cut.
Daniel Cormier overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cormier postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Propa out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Cormier goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Daniel Cormier!
