Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zero Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgio Lispin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zero Knight is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zero Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Georgio Lispin!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lispin defends it nicely.

Lispin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Knight is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Knight is trying to stand up here but Lispin is controlling him well.

Knight has one foot on Lispin's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Knight has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lispin.
Knight fails with a takedown attempt.

Lispin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lispin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Knight is trying to control Lispin's posture but Lispin avoids it.
Knight is looking for a sweep.
Knight is pushing Lispin's head away, looking to escape. Lispin manages to hold on to the position though.
Lispin tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Knight is looking to reverse the position.
Lispin misses with the ground and pound.
Knight is not content to let Lispin control the position.
Knight struggling a bit here.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Lispin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Knight's guard.
Knight might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Knight has Lispin pulled in close to control his posture.
Lispin wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving.
Knight has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Knight has his takedown stuffed
and Lispin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zero Knight. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lispin gets a takedown into half guard.
Knight is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knight is breathing heavily.
Knight has hold of Lispin's hands but Lispin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lispin lands a nice short elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lispin has Knight up against the cage in a clinch.
Knight drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Knight is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lispin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Knight to the mat. Knight regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Lispin won't allow Knight to sweep him here.
Lispin trying to control the position from guard on top but Knight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lispin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lispin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Georgio Lispin.

Lispin gets the takedown into side control.
Knight manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lispin's best efforts.
Knight is controlling Lispin's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Lispin tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Knight.

Knight manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Lispin lands a two punch combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lispin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lispin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lispin is looking to take a break and control but Knight is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Knight keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Lispin is keen to just control but Knight is a slippery customer.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Georgio Lispin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Knight misses with a takedown attempt - Lispin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Knight feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Georgio Lispin has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Knight drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lispin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Knight has Lispin in his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lispin stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lispin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Knight is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Lispin with shots to the head and body - Knight looks very uncomfortable down there.
Lispin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Lispin avoids the attempt from Knight to control.

Knight is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Lispin thowing shots but they're missing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Georgio Lispin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lispin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
