Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Hawking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Cottero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawking comes to the cage accompanied by One Winged Angel by The Black Mages. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawking tries for a takedown but Cottero sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Cottero throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cottero works the jab nicely.

and Hawking counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cottero!
Hawking throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Cottero works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Cottero has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hawking is working away from the top position though.
Hawking passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cottero!

Hawking has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cottero's face.
Cottero is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cottero avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hawking.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hawking cracks Cottero with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Cottero really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Hawking looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Cottero covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
