The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Stevens looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hickock fails with a takedown attempt.

Hickock manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stevens on his heels. He'll look to pass Stevens's guard now, I'm sure.

Stevens closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Randall Stevens has been cut.
Hickock fails in his attempt to clinch.

Hickock ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hickock no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hickock seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Hickock batters Stevens with a massive right followed by a huge left! Stevens is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Hickock lands a final crushing right hand to drop Stevens to the mat with a gruesome thud! Hickock is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
