Washington keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Gonzales takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Hector Gonzales has been cut.
Gonzales fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Washington.

Washington lands a left and a right that send Gonzales crashing to the mat, dazed. Washington thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Washington misses with a body shot.

Washington drops Gonzales with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gonzales looks back up at him and smiles so Washington waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Gonzales is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Washington misses with a wild combination.
Gonzales avoids a punch combination nicely.
Washington swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Washington rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gonzales moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Washington throws a right and a left that Gonzales avoids nicely.
Washington lands with a good body shot.
Gonzales seems to have got his legs back now.
No joy there for Washington, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Washington looks winded!
Washington lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gonzales circles away quickly and effectively.
Gonzales connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gonzales avoids the body shot from Washington.

Washington throws a hook to the side of Gonzales's head but Gonzales sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Gonzales pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Washington back to the cage. Gonzales follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Dennis Washington has been cut.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gonzales, right into the meat.
Washington is still on wobbly legs! Can Gonzales finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gonzales lands an uppercut, right on the button! Washington tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
