PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Grzesiuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kowalski comes to the cage accompanied by Harvey - Get up and move. Grzesiuk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: PSY - Gangnam Style. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrzej Grzesiuk!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski misses with a takedown attempt - Grzesiuk sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No joy there for Kowalski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Grzesiuk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kowalski tries to avoid it but Grzesiuk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kowalski to the ground. Kowalski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Grzesiuk fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kowalski avoids it really well and circles away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No luck for Kowalski with that takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Grzesiuk is defended easily by Kowalski.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
