The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanchenko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gringo, pushing him back against the ropes.
Gringo looking for a takedown.
Romanchenko unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Gringo lands a takedown into guard.
Gringo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Romanchenko is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gringo, into his guard.
Romanchenko wants to control from the top but Gringo keeps moving.
Romanchenko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gringo is keeping the position for now.
Romanchenko is looking to stand up but Gringo won't let him.
Gringo is looking for a triangle but Romanchenko pushes his legs off easily.

Gringo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Romanchenko defends it easily.
Romanchenko wants to stand but Gringo is controlling his posture from full guard.
Gringo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Romanchenko trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gringo's guard.
Gringo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Romanchenko is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gringo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Romanchenko is looking to defend but Gringo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Romanchenko! Gringo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Romanchenko taps out and this one is all over!
