Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pacman Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. The key to victory for Pacman Barnes has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barnes tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barnes to the ground. Barnes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jab by Barnes.
Barnes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Barnes moves into the clinch.
Barnes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Barnes smiles and moves away.
Pacman Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renzo Gracie.
Barnes lands a leg kick that knocks Gracie off balance momentarily.
Nice straight punches there by Barnes. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Barnes.

and Gracie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Barnes's guard now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Barnes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard.

Gracie throws his legs up looking for a submission but Barnes uses it to pass to side control.
Gracie tries to bench press Barnes off him but Barnes keeps the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Barnes just content to control the position.
Gracie is looking to reverse the position.
Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gracie regains half guard.
Barnes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gracie wants to improve his position but Barnes is controlling well.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Barnes pulls his head out easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

After the fight, Pacman Barnes was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
