Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnson Beharry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Kamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beharry comes to the cage accompanied by Redemption Song. Chris Kamara has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamara shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Beharry defends it nicely.

Beharry drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kamara is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Beharry seems to be working for a kimura but Kamara defends the submission attempt.
Kamara wants to improve his position but Beharry is controlling well.

Kamara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Beharry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Beharry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kamara is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Beharry is defending well though. Kamara let's go of the attempt for now.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Kamara has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Beharry has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kamara is trying to stick to Beharry's back but Beharry is turning into Kamara. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kamara's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Beharry.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kamara has his foot on Beharry's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Beharry works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Johnson Beharry will probably get the nod.
