Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sting Steiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haka Maka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maka has chosen Island Music as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sting Steiner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Haka Maka!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steiner lands a head shot.

Steiner gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Steiner lands a left hand that snaps the head of Maka backwards.
Steiner lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Maka has had enough of the clinch but Steiner keeps him there for the moment.
Steiner makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Steiner.
A short right from Steiner.

Steiner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sting Steiner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maka misses with a double jab.

Steiner moves into the clinch successfully.
Maka swings wildly with an uppercut but Steiner uses good head movement to avoid it.
Maka wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Steiner lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Steiner lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Maka or not.
Maka has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Steiner misses with a punch to the body.

Steiner breaks from the clinch.
Steiner tries to clinch but Maka moves out of range.
Steiner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steiner misses the jab.
Steiner moves in looking to clinch but Maka pushes him off.
A head kick misses from Steiner.
Steiner is looking to clinch but Maka is avoiding it.
Steiner tries to clinch up.
Maka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Steiner.

Maka drives through with a takedown into Steiner's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Steiner is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Maka has had enough of the clinch but Steiner keeps him there for the moment.
Steiner tries a body shot but Maka blocks it.
Steiner has Maka pressed against the cage, preventing Maka from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Steiner breaks the clinch.
Steiner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Maka.
Steiner misses with a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Steiner gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Steiner working aggressively here.
Steiner scores with a shoulder strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A short left from Steiner.
Maka wants to take the fight to the mat but Steiner manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Steiner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Steiner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maka moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Steiner throws a looping overhand right but Maka ducks down to avoid it.
Steiner wants to clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Steiner. Those never looked like landing.
Steiner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maka circles away quickly and effectively.
Maka throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Maka tries to break the clinch but Steiner is controlling the position.
Maka blocks an uppercut.
Steiner misses with a punch to the body.
Steiner scores with a nice hook to the head.
Steiner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Maka.
Sting Steiner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haka Maka.
Steiner lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Steiner digs a right hand underneath Maka's ribcage. Maka let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Steiner manages to break the clinch.
Steiner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Steiner lands a brutal head kick. Maka looks out on his feet and Steiner throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Sting Steiner!
During a confident post fight interview, Sting Steiner thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
