Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Odesseiron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexi Takala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Odesseiron comes to the cage accompanied by Afterworld. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Edwin Odesseiron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexi Takala!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takala throws a hook to the side of Odesseiron's head but Odesseiron sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Takala clinches with his opponent.
Odesseiron prevents a body shot from Takala.
Odesseiron misses with a knee strike.
Odesseiron with a knee to the head.
Odesseiron stops a takedown attempt from Takala.
Takala is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Odesseiron throws a knee to the head but misses.
Odesseiron misses with a knee strike.
Odesseiron throws a knee to the head but misses.
Takala takes a knee right on the jaw!
Takala is looking to control Odesseiron's arms but Odesseiron gets an underhook and turns him. Now Takala has his back to the cage.
Odesseiron with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Takala misses with a punch to the body.
Odesseiron throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Takala blocks it with crossed arms.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Odesseiron landing knees to the head.
Takala wants to break the clinch but can't.
Takala is working for takedown but Odesseiron is calmly controlling the position for now.
Edwin Odesseiron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexi Takala.
Odesseiron lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Takala backwards.
Odesseiron looking to throw knees to the head but Takala is blocking nicely.
Odesseiron with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Takala is rocked!
Odesseiron has Takala pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Takala is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Odesseiron - that's hurt Takala badly! Oh, another knee lands and Takala is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Takala doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Edwin Odesseiron!
A relieved looking Edwin Odesseiron thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
