Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Bhurdon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Taic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bhurdon's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Invaders Must Die. Taic has chosen Here Comes the Boom-Intimidation as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bhurdon displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Taic rushes Bhurdon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bhurdon tries to land knees in the clinch but Taic avoids the damage to the body.
Bhurdon stops a takedown attempt from Taic.

Taic has Bhurdon pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Taic pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bhurdon tumbling to the mat - Taic dives into Bhurdon's guard.
Taic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Taic controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Taic tries to free his leg and advance position but Bhurdon is retaining full guard.
Taic forces his way into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taic is looking to take a break and control but Bhurdon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jason Taic.
That kick from Bhurdon tenderised Taic's leg. Taic is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bhurdon throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Taic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bhurdon pinned against the cage. Bhurdon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Taic gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bhurdon counters with a low kick, right behind Taic 's knee.
Martin Bhurdon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Taic.

Bhurdon throws a series of punches but Taic moves out of range.
Bhurdon closes the distance and lands a one-two.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bhurdon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Good leg kick by Bhurdon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Taic throws a wild hook but Bhurdon just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Taic gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Bhurdon raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Bhurdon!
Martin Bhurdon bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
