Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Djozz Top!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Williams!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Top darts in trying to clinch

and Williams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Top's guard now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Top keeping full guard, as Williams tries to pass.
Top is looking to sweep but instead, Williams has passed into half guard.

Williams seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Top does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sam Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Top tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Williams should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Top is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Williams off and has taken his back!
Top is trying to stick to Williams's back but Williams is turning into Top. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Top's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Williams.
