The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matah shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Matah showed some decent athleticism there.
Jonsson wants to control but Matah is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jonsson is looking for a sweep. Matah is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Matah sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jonsson defending well though.
Matah is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Matah looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Jonsson wants to hold on but Matah pushes him away.
Jonsson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Matah looking to control but Jonsson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Matah throws some wild stikes that Jonsson manages to avoid easily.
Matah pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Jonsson tries to lock up and control but Matah gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Jonsson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Matah.
Matah wants to control the pace but Jonsson is squirming around nicely.

Matah throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Jonsson has his hands clasped together but Matah breaks the hold and Jonsson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Matah!
