The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mali with a lazy takedown attempt

and Filipovic counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Mali down! Filipovic is looking to finish but Mali is intelligently defending himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Filipovic gets to his feet. Mali looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Filipovic drops Mali with a right and a left! Filipovic comes rushing in but Mali regains his composure and manages to keep Filipovic in guard.

Mali is rocked!
Filipovic wants to pass the guard but Mali is keeping the position.
Oh Mali is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mali really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Filipovic trying to control the position from guard on top but Mali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mali will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Filipovic stands and steps away. Mali gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Mali seems to have got his legs back now.
Mali shoots in but Filipovic avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Filipovic lands with a right and another and another! Mali is in big trouble! Filipovic lands again and this time it's lights out for Mali! A quality knockout there for Filipovic.
