Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Quitoriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayabusa comes to the cage accompanied by Bombs Away. Vincent Quitoriano will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Hayabusa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Quitoriano!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quitoriano tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hayabusa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Quitoriano somewhat.
Akira Hayabusa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quitoriano fails with a takedown attempt.
Quitoriano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hayabusa tries to avoid it but Quitoriano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hayabusa to the ground. Hayabusa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Akira Hayabusa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincent Quitoriano.
Quitoriano takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.


It looks like Vincent Quitoriano has been cut.
Hayabusa fails with an attempt to clinch.
Quitoriano shoots in looking for a takedown. Hayabusa tries to sprawl out of it but Quitoriano keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hayabusa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hayabusa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hayabusa stands up over Quitoriano, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hayabusa controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Quitoriano is trying to keep Hayabusa in close.
Hayabusa slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hayabusa is looking to take a break and control but Quitoriano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Quitoriano throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Quitoriano looking to score a takedown here. Hayabusa is defending well but Quitoriano drives through and ends up in Hayabusa's guard.

Hayabusa has his feet on Quitoriano's thighs here. He's pushed Quitoriano off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Quitoriano screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
