And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Royale!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royale slips under a jab from Davis.
Royale lands a nice looking kick to the body. Davis takes a step back to recover.
Davis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Royale lands a right hook to the body.
Davis looks to land a body kick but Royale moved away.
Royale dodges the punch combination from Davis.
Davis tries a low kick but Royale avoids it.
Royale fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Royale shoots in for a double leg but Davis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Russell Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Royale.
Davis tries to clinch there but Royale circles away.
Royale stuffs the takedown attempt from Davis. Davis gets slowly back to his feet.

Royale fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Davis to the ground. Royale is now in Davis's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Royale slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Royale accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Royale with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Royale advances to half guard.

Royale is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Davis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Royale.
Royale seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Royale on the ground.
Royale is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Davis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Royale breaks from Davis's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Davis is breathing heavily.
Davis is bucking up trying to escape but Royale cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Royale tries to control but Davis wriggling away.

Royale blocks Davis's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Davis is rocked!
Royale lands a big shot to the head and Davis winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
