The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pavlik but Pavlik pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pavlik throws a head kick that Piper semi-blocks.
It looks like Peter Piper has been cut.
Pavlik throws a series of punches but Piper avoids them all with ease.
Piper shoots in for a takedown but Pavlik shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Piper takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Piper shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pavlik but Pavlik pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ingo Pavlik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Piper.
Piper on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Pavlik lands a big head kick that sends Piper tumbling to the mat! Pavlik takes a step backwards and waves Piper back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Piper is rocked!
Pavlik cracks Piper with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
