Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Kaburaki!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Otto Cutts!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutts stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kaburaki.
Kaburaki has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cutts finds it's way round the side to connect with Kaburaki's head.
Kaburaki dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cutts. That did some damage!
Cutts chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kaburaki can pounce on him.
Cutts scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kaburaki misses with a wild body shot.
A slow jab from Cutts misses its intended target.
Cutts misses with a few strikes there.

Kaburaki fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cutts on the side of the head.

Kaburaki lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cutts's sensitive parts.
Kaburaki feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cutts's calf.
Cutts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kaburaki moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cutts's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Kaburaki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cutts has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kaburaki.
Cutts ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kaburaki throws out a leg kick but Cutts moves out of range and Kaburaki only half commits.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kaburaki looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Kaburaki backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Cutts's temple! It sends Cutts violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Kaburaki celebrates and the doctors try to help Cutts!
