Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Gideon Gabriel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Doby!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabriel pivots, looking for a leg kick but Doby is out of range and Gabriel settles back down.
Doby tries to clinch but Gabriel is having none of it.
Gabriel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Doby moves out of range of the leg kick from Gabriel.
Gabriel is looking to score with low kicks.
Gabriel thuds his shin into the meat of Doby's side.
Gabriel throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Gabriel lands a big head kick that sends Doby tumbling to the mat! Gabriel takes a step backwards and waves Doby back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Doby is rocked!

It looks like Shane Doby has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A head kick misses from Gabriel.
Doby is still on wobbly legs! Can Gabriel finish him?
Gabriel does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Good leg kick by Gabriel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gideon Gabriel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gabriel missing with a left hand there. Doby was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Doby seems to have recovered his senses.
Gabriel thows a body shot but no joy.
Doby throws a hook but Gabriel avoids it easily.
Gabriel throws out a leg kick but Doby moves out of range and Gabriel only half commits.
Gabriel lands with a nice body punch.
Doby sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gabriel, as that shot connected.
Doby keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Doby does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Doby counters with an outside leg kick.
Gabriel ducks under a wild hook from Doby.
Doby avoids the head kick by Gabriel.
Gideon Gabriel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Doby looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A swing and a miss from Doby.
Gabriel throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gabriel tries to work over Doby's front leg with a kick but Doby checks it.
Gabriel misses with a low kick as Doby jumps back.
Doby takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gabriel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Doby.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Gabriel cracks Doby with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gabriel has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Doby to stand back up!
Doby wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
