The crowd seem to be enjoying Kreedy's choice of entrance music: Can't Stop. Josh Extreme could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Diesel Kreedy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Extreme!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Diesel Kreedy!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kreedy connects with a body shot.
Extreme slips a jab and a cross from Kreedy.
Kreedy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Extreme.

Kreedy gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kreedy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Extreme does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kreedy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Kreedy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Extreme trying to control but Kreedy postures up.
Extreme might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Extreme missing with punches from the bottom.
Kreedy is nestled in close to Extreme, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Well, if Kreedy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kreedy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Extreme tries to bench press Kreedy off him but Kreedy keeps the position.
Extreme knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kreedy on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Extreme's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Extreme takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Kreedy is looking to take a break and control but Extreme is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kreedy is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Extreme's shoulder. That is not cool.
Extreme gets back to half guard.

Kreedy winds up and cracks Extreme with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kreedy connects with a nice short shot to Extreme's temple.


Extreme is rocked!
Extreme is not content to let Kreedy control the position.

Extreme has hold of Kreedy's hands but Kreedy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Oh Extreme is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kreedy is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Extreme is hurt! He's hurt bad - Kreedy fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Extreme from any more punishment! Congratulations to Kreedy! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diesel Kreedy!
After the fight, Diesel Kreedy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
