Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Atreides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivey comes to the cage accompanied by Friday. Atreides has chosen Hardcore Vibes as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phil Ivey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Atreides!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Atreides tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ivey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Atreides somewhat.
Ivey lands a nice looking body shot.

Atreides moves into the clinch.
Ivey lands a nice uppercut.
Atreides has had enough of the clinch but Ivey keeps him there for the moment.
Atreides's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ivey misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Atreides is trying to pull guard but Ivey turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Ivey tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Atreides's elbow.
Atreides jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ivey walks away with a smile on his face. Atreides gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Phil Ivey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Atreides.
Atreides fails with a takedown attempt.
Atreides fails to land the takedown.
Atreides shoots for a double leg takedown but Ivey sprawls well. He's pushed Atreides's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ivey closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ivey is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Atreides jumps guard but Ivey turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Atreides has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ivey after a bit of a struggle.
Atreides tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ivey smiles and moves away.

Atreides gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ivey.
Ivey fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ivey swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Atreides has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ivey avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Atreides pulls guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ivey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Atreides has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ivey is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Atreides.

Ivey moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Ivey has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ivey stands up and beckons Atreides to his feet.
Ivey loads up on a big right hand but Atreides slips the punch.
Atreides takes one to the side of the head.
Ivey scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Atreides doesn't seem bothered though.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ivey. That's going to slow Atreides down.
Ivey lands with a straight right. Atreides didn't see that one coming.
Ivey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Atreides on the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Atreides.
Ivey dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Atreides looks winded!
Ivey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Atreides gets a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Ivey.
Atreides tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ivey just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ivey works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ivey is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Ivey misses with a punch on the inside.
Atreides tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ivey smiles and moves away.
Atreides on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Atreides shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Atreides seems to be looking for submissions.

Atreides is looking for a kimura but Ivey is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Atreides to get the leverage.
The fighters are battling for position here. Ivey manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Atreides drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ivey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ivey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ivey!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ivey takes a little break here. Atreides wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Atreides is looking to regain half guard here but Ivey keeps moving and retains side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Phil Ivey dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ivey darts in and clinches Atreides up against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ivey.
Atreides is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ivey creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ivey goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ivey scores with a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ivey uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Atreides takes the fight into the clinch.
Ivey has a couple of punches blocked by Atreides.

Atreides drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ivey lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Ivey.

Ivey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ivey leaves Atreides with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Atreides takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Paul Atreides is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Atreides is breathing heavily.
Ivey misses with a wild body shot.

It looks like Paul Atreides has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Atreides ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Atreides no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Ivey stays in close to Atreides's body and controls the position.
Ivey scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Atreides looking for a triangle here. Ivey is fighting it but it looks tight! Atreides pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Ivey is tapping out - this one is all over!
