Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Cerrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerrone takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Young shoots for a double leg takedown but Cerrone sprawls well. He's pushed Young's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Young decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Young is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Cerrone is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Young to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Young shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Young tries to bum rush Cerrone with a series of wild strikes but Cerrone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Young tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cerrone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Young somewhat.

Cerrone drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Young manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cerrone has Young in his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Young is fighting to break Cerrone's control of his arms but Cerrone is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Cerrone wants to sweep here but Young controlling him for the moment.
Young got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cerrone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Young has managed to get both his arms back between Cerrone's legs - danger averted.
Cerrone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cerrone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Young is in close to Cerrone's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Young drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Young seems to have locked his on tight now - Cerrone screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Young, as he picks up the win!
