The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bahamut shoots in but Jaimes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bahamut.
Jaimes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jaimes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Bahamut closes the distance and clinches up with Jaimes, looking for a takedown. Bahamut pushes Jaimes against the cage but Jaimes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rafael Jaimes will probably get the nod.

Drako Bahamut seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Bahamut shoots for a double leg takedown but Jaimes sprawls well. He's pushed Bahamut's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jaimes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Rafael Jaimes spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
