PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Coco Puff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coco Puff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Boy!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puff looks to land a combination but Boy avoids it well.
Puff lands a head kick. Boy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Puff tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Puff leaves Boy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Puff throws a head kick that half lands.
Boy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Puff avoids it really well and circles away.

Puff has closed the distance and engaged Boy in a clinch.
Boy managing to block the knees to the body from Puff.
Boy keeps control of Puff as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Puff is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Puff pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boy tries for a takedown but Puff sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Coco Puff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Boy.
Boy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Puff thows a body shot but no joy.

Boy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Boy seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Puff is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
