Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Austin Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery misses with a takedown attempt - Worner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Montgomery fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Worner is out of range.

Worner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Montgomery to the mat! Montgomery manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Worner sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Montgomery's guard.

Worner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Montgomery is just riding it out for now. Worner eventually gives up the hold.

Worner wants to work for an arm triangle but Montgomery is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Montgomery is looking for a sweep. Worner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Worner is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Montgomery has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Montgomery!
Montgomery is fighting to break Worner's control of his arms but Worner is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Montgomery shoots in looking for a takedown. Worner tries to sprawl out of it but Montgomery keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Worner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Worner shoots in looking for a takedown but Montgomery manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Worner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
