Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mavroeidis misses with a few strikes there.
Mavroeidis looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hill forces Mavroeidis back against the cage and clinches.
Mavroeidis just leaning against Hill, taking a breather.

Hill manages to pull guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mavroeidis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hill is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Leonidas Mavroeidis.

Mavroeidis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mavroeidis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hill clinches with his opponent.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hill as Mavroeidis tries to tie him up.
Hill lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hill drives through and clinches with Mavroeidis against the cage.
Mavroeidis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hill uses from the top position.
Hill stands up and waves to Mavroeidis to follow him.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mavroeidis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mavroeidis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hill has taken the fight to the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Hill dominated that round.
That's time! Mavroeidis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hill closes the distance and clinches up with Mavroeidis, looking for a takedown. Hill pushes Mavroeidis against the cage but Mavroeidis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mavroeidis enables Hill to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mavroeidis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mavroeidis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hill defends it easily.
Hill stands up from guard. Let's bang!
A head kick misses from Hill.
Mavroeidis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mavroeidis decides to stand and escape the position.

Ivan Hill has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mavroeidis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hill sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Mavroeidis wants to take a breather but Hill is having none of it.
Hill is trying to stand up here but Mavroeidis is controlling him well.

Hill wants to control the action here but instead Mavroeidis manages to pass to full mount!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mavroeidis is working for a guillotine from mount but Hill frees his head quite easily.
Hill is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Mavroeidis fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Mavroeidis throws some wild stikes that Hill manages to avoid easily.

Mavroeidis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hill is trying is best to control the position here.
Mavroeidis gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Hill gets caught flat footed, as Mavroeidis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Mavroeidis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hill swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mavroeidis tries to stand but can't do so whilst Hill controls his leg.
Hill is looking to control Mavroeidis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hill avoid being mounted?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Mavroeidis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hill tries to avoid it but Mavroeidis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hill to the ground. Hill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hill looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mavroeidis!

Mavroeidis has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Hill.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Hill's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Mavroeidis tries to escape but Hill has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Hill is persistently looking for the submission but Mavroeidis is defending it well.
Mavroeidis manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hill's guard. Nice work there by Mavroeidis.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Ivan Hill comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hill has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
