The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy blocks a low kick nicely.
A head kick misses from Alkofer.
Alkofer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Alkofer lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like New Tall Guy has been cut.
Dennis Alkofer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alkofer lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Guy sprawling to the canvas. Alkofer follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Guy hang on?
Guy is rocked!
Guy is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alkofer slows the pace down in half guard.
Oh Guy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alkofer winds up and cracks Guy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are battling for position here. Guy manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Alkofer gets to his feet and stands over Guy, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Guy felt that one! Alkofer unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Guy from any more punishment!
