Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Diego Bermudez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego Brandao struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bermudez slips under a jab.
Brandao misses with an uppercut. Bermudez saw that one coming.
Brandao throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bermudez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bermudez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brandao pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bermudez throws a push kick but Brandao slaps the foot to one side.
Diego Brandao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brandao smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bermudez is rocked!
Brandao takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Oh Bermudez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brandao misses with a hook.
Bermudez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brandao.
Brandao throws a hook but Bermudez avoids it easily.
Bermudez seems to have got his legs back now.
Bermudez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Brandao tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bermudez smiles and moves away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bermudez walks straight into a right hand from Brandao - that's dropped him! Brandao jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bermudez from any more punishment! Bermudez complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Diego Brandao!
In his post fight interview, Diego Brandao started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
