The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrett blocks a jab.
Syd Barrett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Augello throws a nice looking combination but Barrett bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Barrett connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Augello takes a swing at Barrett's ribcage but misses.
Augello ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barrett moves away.
Augello misses with a wild body shot.
Augello feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Barretts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Augello misses the shot to the body.
Barrett thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Augello if he has to take too many more of those.

Barrett has taken the fight to the clinch.
Barrett lands a shoulder strike.
Barrett throws a punch but it's blocked by Augello.

Augello lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Augello throws a lazy right hand but Barrett sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Barrett looks for the body kick but Augello saw that one coming.
Augello throws a combination that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Augello avoids a kick to the body.
Barrett works Augello's body with a nice hook.
Augello is looking to wear down Barrett with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Barrett lands with a kick to the ribs.
Augello is breathing heavily.

Barrett moves into range and clinches up with Augello.
