Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oswaldo Barra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jacob Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oswaldo Barra!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill forces Barra back against the cage and clinches.
Barra swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Hill is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Barra can't fight it off and eventually Hill manages to take the fight to the floor. Barra looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Barra is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hill defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barra working for a triangle but Hill defends it easily.
Hill content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Barra has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hill can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hill is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Hill is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Barra keeping moving, preventing Hill from controlling successfully.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hill is pushing down on Barra's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barra is fighting to maintain full guard but Hill has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hill winds up and cracks Barra with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Barra tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hill manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Barra is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hill is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Barra to the mat. Barra regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Hill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Hill is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barra swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Hill has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
