The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemingway fails with the takedown
enabling Grundy to counter with a crisp jab.
Grundy scores with a one two! Hemingway had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Grundy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grundy wants it to stay on the feet.
Grundy scores with a shot to the body.
Hemingway will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Solomon Grundy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ernest Hemingway.

Grundy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hemingway to score an easy takedown into full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hemingway is looking to control Grundy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hemingway avoid being mounted?

Still in half guard, Grundy seems content to control.

Hemingway is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Grundy pulls his head out easily.

Hemingway working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grundy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Grundy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hemingway looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Grundy is defending well. Hemingway quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Grundy has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hemingway celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
