Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alik Tseiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joona Vuorensola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joona Vuorensola will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alik Tseiko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joona Vuorensola!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuorensola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tseiko circles away quickly and effectively.

Tseiko looking to score a takedown here. Vuorensola is defending well but Tseiko drives through and ends up in Vuorensola's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Tseiko passes Vuorensola's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Vuorensola is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tseiko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vuorensola looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tseiko is trying to get an arm triangle but Vuorensola is defending well.

Tseiko is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Vuorensola has escaped the position, nice work there.

Tseiko creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tseiko is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Tseiko turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tseiko manages to end up in side control.
Vuorensola is trying to escape the position but Tseiko is controlling the position.

Tseiko keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vuorensola's head.
Tseiko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tseiko in particular looking to stall.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Vuorensola enables Tseiko to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Vuorensola manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Alik Tseiko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tseiko escapes and gets back to his feet.

Tseiko throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vuorensola tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tseiko is in Vuorensola's guard.

A lull in the action here.

Tseiko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vuorensola knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tseiko is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Vuorensola defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
