Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grga Vran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killer Carnara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carnara has his takedown stuffed
and Vran counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Vran jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Carnara misses with a two punch combination.
Carnara dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Carnara closes the distance and clinches.

Carnara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vran looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Carnara pushes Vran up against the cage in a clinch.

Carnara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carnara throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sloppy strikes from Carnara. Those never looked like landing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vran.

Carnara drives through and clinches with Vran against the cage.
Carnara is trying to drag Vran to the mat but Vran just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Vran ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Vran no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Carnara is looking to stand up but Vran won't let him.

Vran can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Carnara controls the pace.

Vran is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Carnara decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Vran fails with the takedown.

Vran misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vran closes the distance and clinches up with Carnara, looking for a takedown. Vran pushes Carnara against the cage but Carnara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Carnara throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Carnara misses with a few strikes there.
Vran closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carnara circles away.
Vran is breathing heavily.
Carnara defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vran.
Carnara throws a series of punches but Vran avoids them all with ease.
Carnara tries to clinch up but Vran circles away and keeps his distance.
Carnara lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Carnara drives through and clinches with Vran against the cage.
Vran is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Carnara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Vran is trying to pull guard but Carnara has him pressed against the cage.
Vran wants to take the fight to the mat but Carnara manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Carnara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Carnara fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vran, pushing him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vran tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Carnara breaks from the clinch.
Vran misses with a head kick.
Vran dodges the punch combination from Carnara.
Vran looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carnara is fending him off so far but Vran persists. Nope, Carnara circles away and we're back to standing.
Vran tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carnara shoots for a takedown but Vran saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vran looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Vran gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Carnara to score an easy takedown into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Carnara gets a clinch.

Carnara has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vran uses from the top position.

Vran knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carnara on the ground.

Carnara is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Vran is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Carnara is defending well.
Carnara is pushing Vran up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Carnara drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Carnara tries for a takedown but Vran manages to get underhooks.

Vran gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Carnara.
Grga Vran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Killer Carnara.
Carnara tries to pull guard but Vran won't allow it.

Vran has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Carnara is trying to keep an underhook but Vran manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Vran is keen to just control but Carnara is a slippery customer.

Carnara tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vran paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carnara displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vran.

Carnara has closed the distance and engaged Vran in a clinch.
Carnara lands a knee to the head.

Carnara ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Carnara no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Carnara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vran gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Vran wants to stand but Carnara is controlling his posture from full guard.
Vran stops Carnara from standing up.
Vran controlling from the top position.
Vran with a flurry of punches that miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Killer Carnara will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Vran shoots in for a double leg but Carnara sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Carnara stuffs the takedown.

Carnara has managed to clinch.
Vran tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Carnara pulls guard effortlessly.
Vran stops Carnara from standing up.

Carnara pushes Vran off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Carnara misses with a takedown attempt - Vran sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Vran shoots in and bounces Carnara off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carnara takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Carnara manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vran manages to get himself to full guard.

Carnara tries to stand but can't do so whilst Vran controls his leg.
Killer Carnara has got the better of the ground game so far.

Vran has one foot on Carnara's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Carnara moves into range and clinches up with Vran.

Carnara escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Carnara rushes Vran and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Vran drags the fight down to the ground.

Carnara decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Vran, up you get!

The fight stays on the outside here - Vran looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Carnara misses with a few strikes there.
Vran tries to clinch there but Carnara circles away.
Carnara avoids the head kick by Vran.

Vran lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carnara circles away quickly and effectively.
Carnara stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carnara wants it to stay on the feet.
Killer Carnara seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Vran stuffs the takedown attempt from Carnara. Carnara gets slowly back to his feet.
Carnara defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vran.

Well Carnara has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
