McNamara comes to the cage accompanied by Massive Attack - Teardrop (House M.D.). Sean McNamara is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNamara throws a right and a left that Rose avoids nicely.
McNamara moves out of range as Rose strikes.
Rose punishes McNamara's body with a nice straight punch.
Rose lands with an uppercut that bounces McNamara off the cage and back into range.
McNamara fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Rose scores with a hook to the body. McNamara takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rose moves into range and connects with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rose throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McNamara falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rose counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rose tries to land a leg kick but McNamara saw it coming and moves away.

McNamara closes the distance and clinches.
A short left from Rose.
McNamara takes an elbow to the temple.
McNamara can't get the takedown.

McNamara pulls guard successfully.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
McNamara keeping moving, preventing Rose from controlling successfully.

Rose is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Tyler Rose has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
McNamara throws a lazy head kick
and Rose cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McNamara uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rose.
McNamara looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No luck for McNamara with that takedown attempt.

McNamara clinches.
Rose throws an elbow but it's blocked.
McNamara is trying to drag Rose to the mat but Rose just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean McNamara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rose prevents McNamara from breaking the clinch.
Rose gets through McNamara's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
McNamara has Rose pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rose manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Rose lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt McNamara or not.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McNamara goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rose prevents it.

Tyler Rose is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rose, as that shot connected.
McNamara fails to land with a series of punches.
McNamara keeps the fight on the outside.
Rose cracks McNamara with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
McNamara blocks the body kick.
Rose keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

McNamara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McNamara fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Rose darts in and clinches McNamara up against the cage.
Nice elbow from Rose.
Rose lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Rose lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Rose lands with a light punch inside.
Rose tries to land knees in the clinch but McNamara avoids the damage to the body.
Rose lands an elbow just above McNamara 's eye.

It looks like Sean McNamara has been cut.
McNamara wants a takedown.

Rose throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Rose throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Rose lands a left hand.
Rose pushes McNamara back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Rose manages to break the clinch.
McNamara walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rose swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McNamara.

McNamara is rocked!
McNamara shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oh McNamara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rose lands a jab to McNamara's midsection.
McNamara seems to have got his legs back now.

Rose feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McNamara sprawling to the canvas! McNamara rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rose finish him?!
McNamara looks up at the clock. Bad move! Rose lands a right hand from hell, dropping McNamara. Rose pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyler Rose!
