Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Savage - that will leave a mark!
Kukanov avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Savage. That's going to slow Kukanov down.
A good leg kick by Savage.
Kukanov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Savage pinned against the cage. Savage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Savage jabs Kukanov to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kukanov closes the distance but Savage moves to the side

and Savage counters by moving into the clinch.
Savage prevents the takedown attempt.

Savage pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Savage misses with a wild combination.
Savage scores with a hook to the body. Kukanov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Savage throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Germano Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Savage delivers a nice body kick.
Savage throws a nice inside leg kick.
Savage displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kukanov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Savage - the referee stops the clock and Kukanov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Savage. Kukanov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Savage lands with a big left! Kukanov is wobbled badly! Savage comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Kukanov to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
