The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartholemeaux waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McCaw.
Bartholemeaux wants to clinch up but McCaw keeps it at a distance.
Bartholemeaux throws a jab when McCaw was well out of range.
McCaw tries for a takedown but Bartholemeaux sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McCaw getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
McCaw swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Bartholemeaux.
Bartholemeaux tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

No joy there for Bartholemeaux, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from McCaw. Bartholemeaux does a little dance to reset his feet.

McCaw throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

McCaw drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bartholemeaux gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bartholemeaux is trying to push McCaw away but McCaw has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

McCaw has Bartholemeaux pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. McCaw pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bartholemeaux tumbling to the mat - McCaw dives into Bartholemeaux's guard.
