Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dhal Sim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hardy Hatecore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sim comes to the cage accompanied by Otherside by Red Hot Chili Pepper. Hardy Hatecore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hardy Hatecore!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sim bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hatecore's head.
Sim buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sim is looking to slow Hatecore down with leg kicks.
Sim connects with a right hand. Hatecore shakes it off.
Sim connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hatecore's hands.

It looks like Hardy Hatecore has been cut.
Sim buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sim swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hatecore.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sim feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hatecore's calf.
Sim connects with a solid leg kick.
Hatecore gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Sim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dhal Sim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hatecore wants to clinch up but Sim keeps it at a distance.
Sim dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hatecore. That did some damage!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hatecore looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hatecore moves in looking to clinch but Sim pushes him off.

Sim lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hatecore tries to clinch up but Sim circles away and keeps his distance.
Sim scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hatecore in his tracks.
Hatecore misses the shot to the body.
Dhal Sim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hatecore has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sim bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hatecore's head backwards.
Hatecore tries to clinch but Sim moves out of range.
Sim uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sim feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hatecore's calf.
Sim feints and then cracks Hatecore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hatecore down.
Hatecore looks winded!
Sim tries a head kick but it misses.
Sim connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hatecore. Hatecore circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sim works the jab nicely.

That has opened up Hardy Hatecore's cut even more.
Sim stuffs the takedown.

Sim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hatecore has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sim scores with a jab. Hatecore acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Sim fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hatecore.
Sim scoring well with a low kick there.
Sim is looking to slow Hatecore down with leg kicks.

Sim bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Hatecore! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Hatecore is rocked!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Sim wants to get up but he can't break Hatecore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hatecore is still in real trouble! Can Sim finish him?
Hatecore seems to have recovered his senses.
Hatecore has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sim has passed into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sim wants to stand but Hatecore is controlling his arm.
Hatecore tries to escape but Sim is in control.
Sim tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hatecore tries to control but Sim manages to take his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sim just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Hatecore tries to close the distance and clinch but Sim swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dhal Sim is winning the standup battle so far.
Both fighters circling a little - Sim finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Sim scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Sim lands a nice hook to Hatecore's body. Hatecore takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hatecore steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sim. That one must have hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hatecore tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sim moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sim throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
That kick from Sim tenderised Hatecore's leg. Hatecore is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sim lands with a straight right. Hatecore didn't see that one coming.

The cut above Hardy Hatecore's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hatecore takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sim buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hatecore wants to stay close but Sim steps back to make room for something. Hatecore seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Sim and Hatecore drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dhal Sim!
A very excited looking Dhal Sim made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
