Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcbride doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bloodaxe counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Bloodaxe gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Mcbride jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bloodaxe walks away with a smile on his face. Mcbride gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bloodaxe lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mcbride has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mcbride and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Mcbride shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bloodaxe counters with an outside leg kick.
Korgan Bloodaxe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Mcbride.
Mcbride misses with a takedown attempt - Bloodaxe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mcbride looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mcbride fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bloodaxe sprawls well initially but Mcbride persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mcbride has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bloodaxe defend it? Mcbride steps over the head and cranks it - Bloodaxe is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mcbride!
