The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burger fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rogers fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Burger on the side of the head.
Burger is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rogers.
It looks like Richard Burger has been cut.

and Rogers counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rogers connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Burger's hands.

and Burger counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rogers's knee momentarily.

Rogers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burger circles away quickly and effectively.

and Rogers counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Burger tries to close the distance and clinch but Rogers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Rogers holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Rogers.

Burger comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Jason Rogers has been cut.
Burger tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rogers avoids it.
Nice body punch from Rogers - that landed with a thud.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Rogers blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Burger has had enough of the clinch but Rogers keeps him there for the moment.

Burger gets tackled into the cage by Rogers. Rogers maintains the clinch.
Rogers presses Burger against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Rogers is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Burger pushes off an throws an elbow but Rogers leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Rogers stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Rogers counters with a crisp right hand that drops Burger! Rogers lets Burger back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Burger is rocked!
Rogers sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Burger's defenses. It connects perfectly with Burger's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jason Rogers!
Jason Rogers bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
