Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Remco Dekker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dekker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Reijkard to the ground. Dekker is now in Reijkard's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Dekker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reijkard is keeping the position for now.
Dekker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dekker wants to pass the guard but Reijkard is keeping the position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dekker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dekker is looking to advance position but Reijkard has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Dekker slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Dekker manages to get to full guard.
Reijkard wants to pass the guard but Dekker is keeping the position.
Dekker throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dekker seems keen to control Reijkard's posture.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Dekker wriggles free and stands up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dekker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reijkard.
Dekker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reijkard circles away.
Dekker looks winded!
Dekker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Reijkard misses with an uppercut. Dekker saw that one coming.
Reijkard lands a really nice looking cross but Dekker seems unphased.
Dekker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reijkard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dekker somewhat.
Reijkard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reijkard looks to land a left hand but Dekker moved out of range nicely.
Dekker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reijkard is fending him off so far but Dekker persists. Nope, Reijkard circles away and we're back to standing.
Stan Reijkard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Remco Dekker.
Dekker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reijkard but Reijkard pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dekker backs away from a small jab... but Reijkard lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Dekker crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Reijkard with a spectacular finish!
