Kourdakov's entrance music is Sonata Arctica - San Sebastian. A fine choice. Guru has chosen Linkin Park - Burning In The Skies as his entrance music. The key to victory for Sergei Kourdakov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kourdakov gets caught flat footed, as Guru shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Guru postures up.
Kourdakov wants to sweep here but Guru controlling him for the moment.
Guru scoring with some ground and pound.
Guru wants to pass the guard but Kourdakov is keeping the position.
Kourdakov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kourdakov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Guru manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guru is looking for a triangle but Kourdakov pushes his legs off easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Guru working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kourdakov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kourdakov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Guru looking for a triangle here. Kourdakov is fighting it but it looks tight! Guru pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kourdakov is tapping out - this one is all over!
