The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Costa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Holmes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Da Costa scores with the left hand. Holmes knows he should have avoided that one.
Da Costa feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Holmes's calf.
Da Costa thuds his right hand into Holmes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Holmes throws a head kick that misses.

Da Costa cracks Holmes with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Da Costa has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Holmes to stand back up!

Holmes is rocked!
Holmes moves out of range of the body kick from Da Costa.
Da Costa is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Holmes hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
